Boarding

The boarding facility contains separate rooms for our canine and feline guests. The spacious rooms allow ample space between your pet and their across-the-room neighbor. An indoor play area for cats and an outdoor play area for dogs provide open spaces for exercising.

The dog room contains both runs and cages. It is cooled in the summer with humidified air and warmed in the winter with in-floor heating. The heating coils are placed in the floors so that half of the run is heated and the other is not, allowing our canine guests the option of a warm or cool bedding area. Dr. Dan’s degree in horticulture is seen in the abundance of plants kept in the room, including the three large planters that separate the two sets of runs. Each dog is offered three outdoor exercise periods every day, including weekends. Optional walks on local trails are available for well-trained guests. Our facility and staff are always ready to meet any special needs, especially those of our elderly friends.

The cat room, located on the south side of the building, is designed as a sunroom. Each kennel is a condo, with either two or four rooms. The exercise area contains toys for playing, towers for climbing, a desk for sunbathing, and Melissa’s lap for napping. Special need cats are always welcomed.

Grooming
We offer bathing and minor grooming for dogs and cats. Scheduling a bath at the end of a boarding stay will have your dog or cat looking their best when you come home. Our Hydro Surge bathing system, which provides a deep massage while it cleans, is great for healthy pets, those with skin concerns, and elderly pets with arthritis.
